Christopher is a nine-year-old white boy living in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 1993. His only dream is to become like his idol, Michael Jordan, and so he joins his neighborhood basketball team, The Silk Street Gang, which is comprised entirely of older African-American boys. Happy and oblivious, Christopher practices everyday–both on the court and on his gaming console–in preparation for the team’s upcoming season, but his teammates have other plans for him. Based on a true story, The Silk Street Gang is a coming-of-age dramatic comedy about inner-city tribalism and the translucent nature of young friendship and dreams.

two down-on-their-luck pickpockets have to steal from tourists to pay the rent in downtown prague.

one day, they accidentally pick off a police officer’s badge…so they start scamming english tourists on the public trams lines for more money.

shot in prague, czech republic in 2004, “with a ‘x’ and an ‘o’” won best high school short at the garden state film festival and is now here for you to steal.

a joint venture between haydenfilms.com and the southside film festival, the image over word supplies filmmakers with a list of dialogue for them to apply verbatim into a story. the catch: the dialogue is nonsensical.

shot in and about amsterdam, the netherlands, “the pro” won three awards and is now here for your viewing pleasure (pun intended).

“black & blue” opens with a college jock, bruised and bloodied in the snow, waking up half-frozen and completely confused amongst empty beer cups.

what ensues is his process of piecing together the night prior in an attempt to find out what exactly happened to him, and why.

based on two true stories, “black & blue” was shot in march of 2007 in uniondale, new york and appeared in the hfc film festival at hofstra university that spring.

for the completion of the intermediate film class, “mates” was shot on 16mm kodak film and uses locations around hofstra university located in hempstead, new york. enjoy.

this film was shot on location in amsterdam, the netherlands. as part of a class called “fim theory in practice,” it is a visual exercise on different acting styles throughout film history: silent, classical hollywood, brechtian, and the method.
